Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G launched: Snapdragon 855+, 30W wireless fast charging, 5G support

Finally the Mi 9 Pro 5G has also been announced by Xiaomi with many exciting new technologies.

At an event in China, Xiaomi officially announced its latest smartphone model, MI 9 Pro 5G. This will be the most advanced version of Xiaomi’s Mi 9 product line.

Powering the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G is the Snapdragon 855+ processor, an upgraded version of the Snapdragon 855 with 15% higher graphics processing performance, optimizing gaming. Besides, the machine also has 2 RAM options including 8GB / 12GB and 3 storage options of 128GB / 256GB / 512GB.

Not only equipped with very impressive configuration parameters, Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G also supports 5G network connection. Xiaomi also said that this is the high-end 5G-enabled smartphone with the most affordable price. Mi 9 Pro 5G has up to 7 antena, helping the device receive a better signal, the maximum download speed can reach 1.8Gb / s.

In addition, Mi 9 Pro is also equipped with a liquid cooler plus 5 layers of graphite, copper heat-conduction coils, and thermal gels. According to Xiaomi, this system can help reduce the temperature to 10.2 degrees C when playing games.

It is equipped with a 4,000 mAh battery, supports 40W wired fast charging, 30W wireless fast charging and 10W fast reverse charging. This is also the first device with wireless fast charging technology with a capacity of up to 30W. According to Xiaomi, wireless fast charging technology allows Mi 9 Pro 5G to fully charge the battery in 69 minutes and 50% in 50 minutes. The wired fast charger allows the device to fully charge in just 50 minutes.

The remaining parameters of the Mi 9 Pro 5G are similar to the standard Mi 9 version with a 6.39-inch teardrop-shaped AMOLED screen. Three main rear cameras are 48MP respectively using Sony sensor, 16MP wide-angle camera and 12MP telephoto camera. Front camera 20MP resolution.

Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G has two color versions including Dream White and Titanium Silver Black with prices starting from 3,699 yuan, equivalent to 12 million.
